Coffee spilling
There I was minding my own business on the train, on my way to work. Suddenly the girl sitting next to me (one hand holding her coffee and the other busy facebooking away) slipped a hold of her coffee and sent it flying on my pants, shoes and feet! I was speechless, and by the time I finally registered what had just happened, the coffee had already soaked my pants. Now, even as a non-coffee drinker I do like its smell, especially the coffee beans smell. But…(big BUT) it’s just not nice to have it smelling on your clothes. Poor me was left stinky like this for the whole day!
Bird's dropping
Birdy, did I do anything to make you mistaken my arm for your toilet bowl? NO! So, why did you feel the need to aim for it when nature called? It totally ruined my appetite for the dessert I was eating, and not to mention my date! Luckily, it was not a first date or it would have been so embarrassing! Eeeekkk!! So note to self, never sit on a bench with an overshadowing tree. You never know what surprise it might have in store for you. Trust me, I found out the hard way last Saturday.
However, with every bad there is good - the law of yin & yang. So despite the above mishaps, here are some of the things that have made me happy.
Yummy churros & chocolate dip at San Churro
Leopard flats from Factorie
Vintage skirt from Queen's Wardrobe
Rose & teddy bear from Chris for Valentine's Day.
Was totally not expecting to get anything delivered to work today.
I always tease him about not being romantic, but I know he is when
he wants to be. It was such a nice surprise :)
