Hello 2012!

I have been M.I.A on the blogging front for awhile due to all the festivities over the last month. New Year, birthday, and Lunar New Year celebrations have definitely kept me super busy! So let's catch up on what I've been up to recently :)

Blog reading
I'm totally in love with blogs by Krystle Uy & Camille Co at the moment. They are both super stylish, and extremely successful in the fashion industry in the Phillipines. I love looking at their style posts and feel inspired to dress better!

Bright colours
My current obsession with bright colours have seen a rapid expansion of colourful items in my wardrobe. It's no wonder I'm a strong advocate of the colour blocking trend this season.

Glassons scallop top

Mossman coral top

Forever New cobalt high waisted pants

Factorie denim

I love the cut of these jeans so much that
I bought them two colours - pink & cobalt

Bright lippies
In line with my colour blocking obsession is the hunt for bright lippies! I used to play it safe with lips and always wore nude colours or very natural pink lippies, but recently I have been really into the bright lips look. I feel that they instantly lift my face and help to make me look more fresh. However, I just have to be more mindful of teeth stains!

L - R: Rimmel Kate Moss No.10, Revlon Fire & Ice,
L'Oreal Pink Passion, Rimmel Pink Gossip & Pink Blush

Black & gold necklaces
Just have a look at my purchases below and you can see that I'm just totally drawn to this colour combo for accessories (compulsive disorder much?). All are from Lovisa, and at the moment they are having 'buy 2 get 1 free' promotion so make sure you guys check it out.

Birthday dinner

I had the chance to get all dressed up last Tuesday for a nice dinner to celebrate Chris' birthday at the Galileo Restaurant, located within the Observatory Hotel. I love the classic European setting of this restaurant - it instantly makes you feel all posh and classy just being there. The food was just simply delicious, and the staff was extremely friendly. I absolutely loved it there!

Another highlight from the night was the debut of my Chanel bag. Finally, I have a special occassion to take my bag out :)

Entree: scallops

Entree: organic asparagus

Mains: magret duck & cape grim beef tenderloin

Desserts: pistachio parfait & deconstructed pavlova

This was so yummy!
